Belly Shots Begin

In honor of turning 20 weeks this week and due to some pressure from others (you know who you are), I've decided to start taking some belly pictures. Not too much to see other than my increasing waistline which is probably a little bit because of baby and a lot because of my food intake. Nevertheless, here I am! I love elastic bands! I love stretchy shirts!

Another week gone by

Again, not much to report on but I did get to hear the little one's heartbeat this week! Sounds good and strong and ready to reveal himself (or herself) in just under 3 weeks!
John is headed to NYC for the qualifying rounds of the U.S. Open on Sunday. I'm on-call for my home health job today and tomorrow then a friend's baby shower on Sunday afternoon.
Anyone joined Facebook lately? What an addiction it is! I can't seem to get myself off of it!

Still here!

So my mom keeps bugging me each week....."When are you going to update your blog?" There really isn't a whole lot to report. I have no pictures to post and that's what I enjoy most about reading other people's websites. These past two weekends I've had the chance to spend with some girlfriends, old and new. First I went skydiving with my new tennis friends Carrie and Heather. Okay...calm down....Carrie was the only one who jumped this time. For the record, it's perfectly okay for a pregnant woman to do it! (I was just too scared of John's reaction if I had jumped again.) Then Bear and I got to spend this past weekend with Erin in Augusta. It was great getting to hang out with her. Thank you, Schmerin!

No news is good news, right? John is still selling cars and seems to be enjoying it. I'm still plugging away at work where things are busy and stressful. Bear is Bear....I would like to be him in my next life. And the Baby Buddah belly is finally starting to grow! I'm finally starting to tip the scales and even though I thought I was showing before, the real baby is poking through. Therefore, I must have been eating too much and have completely ruined my waistline. :o)

Looks like Johnny will be heading to the U.S. Open in a few weeks with Amanda McDowell (NCAA champ). Although I would love nothing more than to go with them, I should probably start trying to be responsible and save my time for the holidays and maternity leave. Ends up I will be going to the APHON conference in Albequerque with Colin at the end of September so that's something to look forward to.

Will have more to report next week. 18 week doctor visit! Only one more until I'm faced with the dilemma of finding out or not finding out.
